Autumn and winter seasons are the perfect time for baking. With the holidays coming soon, I hope you will enjoy the recipe this week. Best to serve warm and with a cup of hot tea. If you don't want to use Splenda in this recipe - then use the regular sugar.

I'm back to my cabbage soup. This recipe along with some of the other soup recipes has been more beneficial to my weight loss than any other foods. My experience has been to eat healthier and along with this comes the weight loss. I don't do very well if I get hungry, so I don't have any size portions..I just eat until I'm full, but try to not over eat. I don't count calories/carbs that some of the popular diets have...I just focus on eating healthy. I try to eat more fresh vegetables and fruits. My mind set and attitude to being healthier is the most important factor for success in all areas of health, wellness and weight-loss.
- Don't over eat
- Drink lots of water
- Avoid sugar
- Keep whole almonds for snacks on hand (I keep a Ziploc bag in my car)

Think "healthier" instead of "dieting" to lose weight.
- Don't set a certain time limit on reaching your goal - it's a JOURNEY..you will reach your goal!
To date, I have lost 26 pounds. I have nine more pounds to reach my goal.
